Human beings are social creatures. Whether introverted or extroverted in personality, people have a strong need for social interactions and meaningful relationships. In addition to being social, we are also highly adaptable and have an impressive ability to quickly adopt new behaviors. This is the social nature of our existence.
To be fair, suggesting that L&D take responsibility for informallearning could be considered a stretch. My argument is simply that informallearning has practices and policies that can optimize outcomes, and that it’s a necessary component of success going forward. (I We should anyway!
