In my experience, small businesses (500 or less users) are the ideal audience for a lowcost system. This does not mean that anyone who has more than 5,000 users should be a system in the lowcost mode, but rather these systems are definitely suited to this business size. These are folks who are going to use your system.
When LinkedIn informed me that I’d been selected to answer a seemingly random question, it reminded me of being selected by Twitter for a brief survey, or winning a prize on one of those dodgy scratchcards. It piqued my penchant for lo-fi solutions, so I contributed an answer under the part Use free or low-cost tools.
It’s low-cost yet offers strong opportunities to reach and engage with your audience. LinkedIn If you’re in B2B or want to connect with other industry professionals, LinkedIn is your best bet. LinkedIn is the ideal platform if you provide courses related to professional qualifications. And for good reason.
Mass subscription with low/no barriers to entry. Free or low-cost, available to all online, use task-specific tools.
