However, email newsletters have to be done well to work. The best way to build a successful email newsletter is to segment your subscribers into different email marketing lists. For example, if you’re offered a free trial, then your email newsletter can offer additional free tidbits with the promise of more behind a paid membership.
A product can be anything from a course to a podcast to a paid newsletter. If you can integrate that with your newsletter, all the better! Similarly, while Substack has its breakout stars who have hit it big with their paid newsletter subscriptions, the success stories are few and far between.

Running a compelling newsletter can help you stay top of mind while also demonstrating the quality of your content. Maybe you can even offer to have some of your members publish their successes on your blog.
