Upscaling, background removing, face blurring (automatically detecting all the faces in a crowd and blurring them all for privacy), inpainting, image comparison. This would be a good source to check for B-roll footage or free videos for portfolio samples. The basic plan is free, with paid plans for credits for more advanced tools.

Another area we need to consider is ethics and privacy within learning analytics. The protection of learners’ personal data and privacy should always come first. Does it violate user privacy ? L&D will evolve to play a key role in safeguarding learner privacy and advocating the ethical use of technology.

In the past, I’ve always emailed a few samples to prospective employers rather than having a comprehensive portfolio. That did allow me to be less worried about privacy, but it didn’t give me a good way to explain what I was doing with each of the samples.
