This is my preferred approach for a course that uses a conventional interface like those that come with the rapidelearning players. In this case, she built the help instructions with the animations and audio in Quizmaker. I like it because it used a game-like approach to show a less conventional use of rapidelearning tools.

What makes this approach so compelling for rapidelearning is the cost, ease of use, and ability to create virtually any type of scenario for your courses. NOTE: I built the scenario in Quizmaker ‘09. The first slide is a Flash animation and the CPR simulation was created in Quizmaker ‘09. I think it’s a perfect example of how you can use PowerPoint to build effective and engaging elearning courses. In my last blog post , I shared the basic reasoning behind optimizing your e-learning media files and how to reduce file size using external tools. Articulate Studio (Presenter, Engage, and Quizmaker). To use the publishing compression settings, go to Presentation Options on the Articulate ribbon.
You don’t need an external application such as Quizmaker; Articulate Storyline has built-in assessment templates which can be customized according to your requirements. Articulate Storyline’s various templates can be tweaked according to your requirements. In the next blog, we will see a few features customized in Articulate Storyline.
However, I do have two misgivings, which I believe Articulate could remedy: The service seems only to support content created with Articulate Presenter and QuizMaker. No concession has been made to the fact that content is often only a starting point in the learning process. I may be wrong, but that's what it looks like.
I went into this just hoping to eliminate the steps I was taking to convert my power point into a Captivate file but got more than I was expecting with Quizmaker and Engage. Before diving into this I thought these tools were just for cookie cutter eLearning and not as flexible as you see in the Screenr videos here and here and here.
Perhaps the next generation of Articulate QuizMaker will make all this extra work redundant? You can see how this looks here: [link] I'm quite pleased with the look of this, although it does mean that you generate an awful lot of slides and have to do a lot of manual linking.
It has the latest versions of PRESENTER 360, QUIZMAKER 360, and ENGAGE 360. Interactivities: Accordion, Tabs, Flashcard, Buttons. c) Studio 360 (st) : This is similar to Studio 13, but with the new features available in Storyline 360. Hope this post has given you a comprehensive idea of Articulate’s latest offering – Articulate 360.
But rapid development tools are not at that stage of evolution, so expect the new versions of tools like Articulate to deliver good value for the upgrade price. What I haven't been too impressed with in the past is the way they integrate - they didn't look like they belonged together.
