For example, with an application like Quizmaker you’re inclined to focus on the quizzing because that’s what it’s designed to do. So when you want to build a quiz, you use Quizmaker. But when you want to build “regular” elearning, then you use something else. In the next example I extended my rapid elearning tools in two ways.

The first slide is a Flash animation and the CPR simulation was created in Quizmaker ‘09. I think it’s a perfect example of how you can use PowerPoint to build effective and engaging elearning courses. However, I do have two misgivings, which I believe Articulate could remedy: The service seems only to support content created with Articulate Presenter and QuizMaker. No concession has been made to the fact that content is often only a starting point in the learning process. I may be wrong, but that's what it looks like.

I went into this just hoping to eliminate the steps I was taking to convert my power point into a Captivate file but got more than I was expecting with Quizmaker and Engage. Before diving into this I thought these tools were just for cookie cutter eLearning and not as flexible as you see in the Screenr videos here and here and here.
