by AJ George When you give a PowerPoint presentation live, what you say verbally is more important, probably more interesting, and certainly more fleshed out than the few words or pictures on the slides. You could, of course, record a voiceover in PowerPoint, but maybe you have a cold and your voice isn't up to par.
While working on a recent eLearning project in Articulate Storyline 360, there was a delay in getting the voiceover audio back from our voiceover professional. The dealy was particularly problematic because several slides had image builds that had to be synchronized with the voiceover audio.
The latest improvement is Text to Speech and it works really well. To use the Text to Speech feature, first, add the voiceover script to the slide notes. You'll be able to use this script along with the Text to Speech feature. Click the Audio drop-down menu and choose Text to Speech.
