However unlike some people who think that things like the price tag of a mobile device or its battery are holding mobile learning back from full adoption, I’m convinced technology has little to do with what’s holding us back from crossing the chasm. In my opinion, this is a big challenge for InstructionalDesigners everywhere.

As an instructionaldesigner, you start by learning a whole lot of theories and models. After a few years you realize that instructionaldesign is more an art rather than just pure science – it is a skill honed with experience, and can’t really be narrowed down into a set of guidelines that will fit every situation.
