There are sites dedicated specifically for Kinect technology and education. As a result, I went out, ordered and received the Leap Motion product, which is a touch free device for your computer. Enables you to download apps - free and fee based to use with the product. Also with many data plans SMS is not free.

One vendor asked if you wanted to learn more about their product and sent you to their help desk to notify them of errors or issues with their system (hmm, not likely to buy one from these guys). Over 90% of LMS vendors had their sites available only in English; so the potential customer could not view it in any other language.

The hybrid model worked for many, but unless your customer base are blue-collar, or front-line and thus have to physically be on site, then it is out the door. There are some good ones out there, and from a learning system standpoint some vendors in the B2B/B2C market are adding this capability. And people pay a lot to do it. .

For some vendors the words are just words, not actually making it happen, and when they do, many charge for the privilege of you contacting them. I’m sorry, if I am spending thousands of dollars on a system, I expect customer service – at least the first year to be free. . Yet, many vendors are doing exactly that.
