I''ve had several students in my Captivate classes ask if it was possible to allow learners to retake a quiz. Choose Quiz > Quiz Preferences. From the Settings area, select Show Score at the End of the Quiz. The Quiz Results slide will now include a Retake Quiz button.

Hello, I have a responsive project (Captivate 2019, build 11.0.0243) that includes a series of drag-n-drop quiz questions and I’m finding that the quiz only scores the first question correctly –I’m checking using a Quiz Results slide.

One of my favorite strategies when working with complicated branching and quizzing in projects is to turn off the playbar on key slides via the variable  cpCmdShowPlayBar  (assign with 0 to turn off, 1 to turn on). Choose  Quiz Preferences > Settings  and select  Hide Playbar In Quiz.

Hi Everybody, I’m working on an eLearning that will have a quiz at the end. If the user doesn’t score enough points, it should be able to start the quiz again and after that they have another attempt. I set the attempts, but it checks the attempts per slide. The user should be able to finish all 10 question.

I’m creating a quiz with no prebuilt question slides or result slide, but fully costum ones. Most aspects I’ve been able to make work, but this thing I am struggeling with: I created a costum review process, which uses the same exact question slides. If I do so, the scores are not updated.

Making your multi-choice questions slides more engaging. One of the things I dislike about captivate is the multi-choice choice question slides because they are not very attractive for the learner. as follows: Default Slide View. One thing I discovered on my most recent project is that in Storyline, you can insert a GoAnimate and have clickable items on top of it, on the same slide. She talks, moves, points, and discusses text that appears on the slide with her. And then at the end of the video, my animated grammar teacher introduces a quiz.

Then I have a retake quiz button (up to 3 times). After review button is clicked and the questions are reviewed the Retake quiz button is missing. The quiz can not be retaken? Also I have Score, Max Score, Correct Questions, Total Questions, Accuracy % and Quiz attempts all checked. Only Score shows up?

Even if they save and exit the course with the intention to come back later, a bookmark will remember that they were on slide 4 of out 10 in a presentation, for example. or 2004, and each has various editions. For an assessment that uses click boxes to test learners’ knowledge of navigation, we set the Passing score action to be Exit. For the Failing score action, we used the Show Retake Button option, as well as an Exit action which allows the learner to leave the quiz and review the course material before taking the quiz again.
