& Rapid eLearning - More Definition ), I was asked for recommendations on Rapid eLearning Tools. Many of these eLearning tools realistically are quite different than what I would consider to be the norm in Rapid eLearning Development tools. Most of these fit into the PowerPoint + Audio and most convert to Flash for delivery.
Made to work within most rapid elearning software (ArticulatePresenter, Adobe Captivate, Rapid Intake, Adobe Presenter, PowerPoint and more). BONUS: Reuse the templates over and over again in multiple courses…or even other websites and presentations. These are Flash based templates that are super easy to update.

I’ve been using ArticulatePresenter 09 for a couple of months now and have come up with the five things I like best about the new version. Articulate has released two updates to Presenter 09 and most of the problems I had have been cleared up, or I’ve found workarounds.
Many rapid content authoring tools are either based on or an add-on to PowerPoint (PPT), including: Adobe Captivate, ArticulatePresenter, iSpring Presenter, ArticulatePresenter, Articulate Storyline, as well as Digitec’s own Direct-to-WEB. They are likely to be overwhelmed or “zone out.”. •
ArticulatePresenter has that cool annotations feature. It definitely would make the table more engaging and possibly help the learner connect it to the real world. This looks nice and is a bit easier to build and manage than the other types of PowerPoint animations. Just-in-Time Annotations. That could be impactful.
Rapid development tools are by definition going to adopt a position towards the 'easy-to-use' end of the scale, even though this usually means compromising on functionality. One feature that I find I really miss is the ability to include drag and drop activities. You pay £45 (around US$70) for an annual license, which seems fair.
The games that we design are therefore geared to meet definite learning outcomes and our Gamification strategies broadly map to: Tasks or concepts that are overlaid on the learning content but are not related to the content. While Gamification has been applied in several domains, our focus has been on its application in learning.
They weren’t perfect, but they definitely were viable. ArticulatePresenter was around well before eHelp (one of the leading companies) was purchased by Macromedia that was purchased by Adobe. In fact, eHelp licensed ArticulatePresenter for their own RoboPresenter product. Today things are different.
But I saw the light in the early 2000s when I started using ArticulatePresenter. That’s definitely a big change from ten years ago. The authoring tools have definitely evolved over the years. Initially, I only used it to storyboard my course content and interactions in PowerPoint.
I consider myself a Articulate Guru, a really high-user. I love ArticulatePresenter, Quizmaker and Engage, and I consider this a great advance in authoring tools. I work as an instructional designer in southern Brazil. I worked with Flash authoring, programming Actionscript in educational projects 4 years ago. April 15th, 2008.
I searched for “PowerPoint and e-learning” and stumbled upon this Articulate company and ArticulatePresenter. You’ll most likely see more impact and you’ll definitely be able to maintain and update the smaller modules more efficiently. Understand the tools.
There are many definitions of blended learning. DefinitionsDefinitions (especially poorly written ones) are not important. Google Buzz , Google Wave and PKM PKM stands for Personal Knowledge Management, which is a definite passion of mine (see Work Literacy and Social Media for Knowledge Workers ).
