SCORM, LMS, AMS, LCMS, API, JITT, what does it all mean?! LCMS – A Learning Content Management System (LCMS) typically provides a multi-user environment where administrators, instructors, and content managers can create, store, reuse, and manage learning objects from a central object repository.

But I’m not sure they line up with what most LCMS packages provide – unless you decide that you will use it as a super-authoring tool.
