I was looking for any previous post I’d made about stealth mentoring, so I could refer to it in a post I was writing, and I couldn’t find it. In a more informal sense, if you had a leader who shared discussions of their thinking with you, you’d consider that mentoring. Similarly, here, with a difference.
Train-the Trainer- Courses, workshops, and mentoring often go into training the trainer. Instructors learn to lead discussions, listen effectively, make accurate observations and help participants to link training to their jobs. . SME- Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) provide the content that makes a course informative.
It combines digital learning features with material delivery and allows participants to engage in missions, field activities, and discussions with peers and coaches. A second, associated question, is what scenario structure to use. While you can do mentored live performance, e.g., apprenticeships, there are times when this isn’t viable.
