Me: Im an instructional designer. Im sort of distracted by the naked boy who just ran by (not mine). If I see they still have that blank look in their eyes, I quickly mention the names of some of my clients and that usually gets there attention enough to explain further. And then they think Im a flippin genius!!!!
Whether you are reading or listening, you’re also being distracted by the option your brain is not trying to pay attention to. My goal is to make sure that no matter the size of the project, each company that comes to us gets immediate, attentive, personal service. Leave a Reply Click here to cancel reply.

What’s the cause of all this attention? People pay way more attention to ideas and comments that are “out there,” and therefore memorable, than to those that are staid and commonplace, and therefore boring. The result will be audience attention, and a thorough message. Clearly, there’s something to be learned here.

In a world as ever-changing as today’s, it is frankly the height of hubris to assume that all problems can be solved by a few heads, but that is effectively what many organizations persist in doing. My goal is to make sure that no matter the size of the project, each company that comes to us gets immediate, attentive, personal service.
However, with the passing of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA), that’s all changed, and there is now significant financial incentive to adopt — and properly use — an EHR system. Up until now the effects of these failed implementations have amounted to little more than lost opportunities.
Organizational change came in at 16%, followed by process alignment at 13%, and software functionality at 1%. It’s clear that getting a solid and rapid ROI on software projects has more to do with people and change than it does with technology. Capture the attention of the target population of users within the enterprise.

With all of the competition for scarce attention time, it’s become received wisdom that surveys need to be short (like 5 questions short), or else the response rate will tank. My goal is to make sure that no matter the size of the project, each company that comes to us gets immediate, attentive, personal service.

In my last blog post I wrote about leveraging the Law of the Few to manage change in the workplace. As a marketer, you want to make sure prospective clients are aware of you and your company, so if a prospect asks a question on Twitter that is related to adult learning, reply to it with the intention of grabbing their attention.
