Give away digital assets like photos and graphics when you can. Icons, slide layouts, navigation buttons, templates, and interactions are always in demand. It’s a tremendous community with great people and positive attitudes. You won’t be able to compete on price; you must compete on value. Share more.

Just snap a photo of your printed document. Some software such as Snagit can extract text from your photo, if you prefer. That means photos of text documents won’t work. Be sure you extract the text from your photo into a true digital document to ensure accessibility. You don’t necessarily need a fancy scanner.
In an average year, I snap 3,000 photos of travels, friends, events, food, nature, and whatever else passes in front of my visual field. 10 seconds a photo. Here’s the 2011 slide show. You won’t find photos of flat tires, boring events, or stomach aches. Photos help me reflect on the past.
