John Kleeman started Questionmark some 20 years ago, building the first version at his kitchen table. Over the past twenty years Perception grew out into the world leading software for assessments. Stoas is representing Questionmark in the Netherlands for more than 10 years and we have over a 100 customers using Perception intensively.

Authoringtools continued to be a mish-mash, with many continuing to forget what their number one goal truly is – creating content/courses. Articulate Rise, is a cloud-based authoringtool, not a hybrid – and will fully admit as so.
Standalone Quiz/Assessment Tools. I love Questionmark, its a wonderful product and it can use a “connector” to integrate into your learning platform or system. However, times are continuing to change in regards to the overall standalone quiz/assessment tools market. The same can be said for survey tools.

have been making their rounds these past few months, mine included (authoringtools), but what about the worst? Award category – Time to retire your tool, product, etc. Questionmark. Yes it is a top-notch SaaS assessment tool and it has a lot of functionality, but the UI is dated and needs major revamp.
