Technical Communications: Online Versus Paper

While aPDF will work in an online world, a PDF is really just a digital replica of the paper document. To use the images, you'll need to allow time to save the images as online versions (in jpeg or png format). For example, the paper documents are scanned and converted to PDF. When you do, the images will likely lose quality.
