I recently participated in the #PLENK2010 MOOC, a Massive Open Online Course to study PLE’s PLN’s and PLM. During the Elluminate sessions, we often had heady academic discourses by those running the session, sometimes allowing little time for feedback. It had upwards of 2,000 people register. No access to Elluminate. Chat messaging on Elluminate was working OK, but not the best medium for presenting a live talk.
