I am having a brand new issue with inserting MP4 videos into a Captivate lesson. I have been doing the same procedure for years and have never had an issue so I can’t figure this out. Within the same lesson I was able to insert a number of MP4s with no issue, but half of them are not working. The settings have not changed.

The previews within captivate play perfectly (preview>project), and it’s only upon publishing and reviewing the file that I get issues. I have tried multiple file types (mp4 and flv), both input variations (event and synchronized) and multiple flash output versions (10.x Any ideas as to what may be causing this issue?

Empower, but I ran into a major issue with Snap! is not the only product which has an issue with a 64 bit Windows computer but in combination with PPT 2010, I’m unaware of any other. Duration (same issue as above) – but keep size. A slight issue I had with Empower! What was it? Great question and no answer.

Even with the issues, I wouldn’t go back to the previous version. Improved Quizmaker Integration - I was never happy with the integration of Quizmaker and Presenter, but Articulate has fixed the issues. I will say this about EasyGenerator, the properties is so extensive in this program, that you should not have any issue on what the outcome or desired effect should be. One issue I had with the publishing option came with the set defaults (which you can click on or off) and course type. Video – flv only. Build properties.

I was recently asked what video format to use and particularly about the differences between the Flash Video Format (FLV) and Windows Media - WMV Format. So this may be less of an issue.
