Studio ‘09 is made up of three different tools: Presenter, Engage, and Quizmaker. The new Quizmaker, in particular, is a welcome addition to the Articulate Studio Suite. Articulate also offers phenomenal technical support for Studio ‘09 both over the phone and in their community forum. Who is it for?
Maybe I'm also a bit jaded in this area as every time I've used the help forum for Articulate (which wasn't often), I never really got a straight forward answer that worked. I remember one bug in particular with QuizMaker that the developers admit existed but said wouldn't be fixed until the next release.
Be it in their lively forums or by actually using one of their flagship products: Storyline and Studio. For those of us who have “grown-up” with Articulate, we remember the days when there was only the Studio offering (which includes Presenter, Engage, Quizmaker, and Replay).
One of the most common questions I see in forums, twitter, and blogs is how to use SCORM so that the results of eLearning courses developed with articulate can be tracked in the Moodle gradebook. Slide views - Best used for Presenter projects that don't include a quizmaker or Learning Objects quiz.

However, I do have two misgivings, which I believe Articulate could remedy: The service seems only to support content created with Articulate Presenter and QuizMaker. In particular there are no facilities for forums. I may be wrong, but that's what it looks like.

I am trying to use some flash I've created in Articulate Quizmaker and Captivate. See Topic: Captivate to Lectora Instructions on the Trivantis Community Forum. The problem I am facing now is how to communicate with the flash objects I use in Lectora. For now, I'm focusing on the Captivate integration.
And you don't always need a lot of built-in interactivity, because this can be provided in other ways, perhaps with a forum or a live discussion. The ingredients of Articulate Studio (Presenter for PowerPoint conversions, QuizMaker for assessments, Engage for innovative interactions) are well-established and deliver good functionality.
I went into this just hoping to eliminate the steps I was taking to convert my power point into a Captivate file but got more than I was expecting with Quizmaker and Engage. I was expecting these tools to speed up development but I was not expecting the quality results.

Ryan, as far as the question about software training, go to community forums , they have a lot of good resources in there and you can get more specific help and answers about Articulate. I love Articulate Presenter, Quizmaker and Engage, and I consider this a great advance in authoring tools. To learn more, go to the user forums.
