I can honestly say, the ATD show is changing from ILT driven (it has always been that way) to e-learning improvement. This year, I estimated a 55/60% e-learning, including some ILT vendors offering some type of e-learning component. . Nowadays, people use their rapid content authoring tool – to create a PPT or use Gen-AI for a text-based course. Boring Even HR who provide training, regardless of whether it is ILT or e-learning, think from their perspective, not the person and people receiving it. Do it once with ILT and OJT = then what?
Here is what will happen if people used the power of their authoring tool (sans Studio, which is really a PPT converter). the learner can select from grid to hierarchy to standard, the majority of systems do not offer that.
