Im wondering if we should be talking about tiers of instructional design. Craft distance learning events for college credit that pull together elements of both asynchronous and synchronous learning experiences. Create online learning experiences for use in K-12 classrooms. I can see how theorists might argue that reading text aloud to the learner addresses multiple "learning styles," but the real-world experience is one of frustration: you want to read ahead but you cant because the narrator reads more slowly than you do. Im with you. But I just thought that was my learning style. Youre right.
