I received a Photoshop file the other day for use in a Captivate project. He was in a bit of a panic because he had sent me a Photoshop file (PSD) instead of the.jpg image I had requested. Adobe Captivate imports native Photoshop files, and you don't have to have Photoshop on your computer.

I use it to create mock-ups of elearning layouts and occasionally for basic image editing. I use SnagIt all the time for quick screenshots. PowerPoint.

For my example, I’ll use the gentleman third from the left in this image. Notice how in this image the man’s shirt is very close to the color of the background, and therefore part of the shirt disappeared along with the background, leaving a ghostly shadow of a shirt. The final step is saving your image. Go to File, and Save as.
