One of the most common questions we hear during our live, online eLearning classes is, "How long does it typically take to create eLearning using Adobe Captivate, Articulate Storyline, or TechSmith Camtasia?" how much access do you have to media such as images and videos? how much voiceover audio will there be (in minutes)?
Using TechSmith Camtasia, you can easily add or record software demonstrations, add them to the Timeline, and export as a video or interactive eLearning. In the image below, I've imported a video demonstration to my Media Bin and added it to the Camtasia Timeline.

TechSmith has integrated some fantastic assets with Camtasia update 23.3.2. There are videos, images, and sound assets. Either way, the asset will be downloaded from the TechSmith website and added to your project. You will need to ensure that you are running the latest Camtasia update. Using the assets is simple.

This is precisely where I see TechSmith bringing a lot to the table, especially with the new release of Camtasia Studio 8. I have been a Camtasia fan for a long time, as well as a SnagIt and Jing fan and I’m also very impressed with the work TechSmith is doing on Mobile. All the interactivity works on multiple screens.

Fortunately, TechSmith addressed the issue in Camtasia 8 with a feature known as Stitching. In the image below, you can see that I've actually stretched the animation across the stitch itself (something that isn't possible when you're working with splits). Stitching is enabled by default.
It wasn't until much later that I realized, much to my horror, that while I had deleted the selected audio as intended, I'd also deleted video segments, images, and other parts of my project. Apparently, when you make a selection on the Timeline, items above and below the selection are also selected. in every track.
