Offer to IM with a co-worker who doesn't IM or Twitter with them. Set up a wiki and give lessons (in a classroom) on how to update. Get up and visit a boomer, don’t just send an email or IM. Create cheat sheets (job aids) for yourself, verify with your boss or co-workers.(share) Be patient.

Tuesday, June 12, 2007 My Personalized Personal Work Learning Environmental World Tony Karrer asked in the comments on my PLE post yesterday , Im curious if you distinguish your learning environment (tools, skills, etc.) Most of what Im doing outside of work these days involves the care and feeding of two small people, ages 2 and 4.
No conscious time to stop and smell the roses; to reflect on whats been going on and why; to incorporate any lessons learned. Theres barely any time to even think if Ive learned any lessons. Lessons learned meetings (do people still do this? Lately, work has just felt way too busy. We talk about it, but theres rarely the time.

And by asking this, Im not suggesting that design isnt important, for it is - its seen by some as part of the pedagogy.
