I had used Jing several times recently to create screencasts. I have been pretty happy with it as a tool, but I got a message from Jing that told me that I had nearly used up my monthly bandwidth. So, as a blogger, you probably can't use Jing to record things. Whew, it's almost Nov.
A screencast is a recording of your computer screen to which you add an explanation by voice- combining it into a video. A screencast is a classical way of explaining computer programs and software. You might for instance explain via a screencast how to start a twitter account. Can I make a screencast?!

What I've learned over the past few years is that it is much harder to make a shorter screencast than a longer one. The shorter the screencast, the more I need to prepare.
