Pro tip: The image should have 3000 px to 4000 px height and 1920 width for better visualization from the top and the side angles. Images for Vertical Parallax can be saved in png, jpeg, or gif format. For a resolution of 1280 px X 768 px or less, almost all the images look smudged or blurry.

Tip : You can resize, overlap, or rotate, each image to get the look you desire around the edges of the canvas. Tip : Any tools you use should have the Shadow turned off. Here are several more things you can do with your image mask: Save the image as a PNG file when you have the look you desire. Then, deleted the cutout.

If you are using a screenshot or a PNG image, it will default to have a transparent background. Step 5: Save your image as a PNG. If you don’t save your image as a PNG file it will default your background to white. You may have to play with the tolerance to get the right transparency level.

As I said earlier, even if you don’t need the icon image, get in the habit of practicing these types of tips. Create a rectangle. Add a radial fill. Create the envelope flap. For example, you could take a group of images and add a one pixel border to each, make the images 200×200 pixels and change the file format from JPG to PNG. Select an output directory if you wish, then choose the file format such as PNG, PSD, or BMP. In just a couple of steps you can change all the images at the same time.

Here are some important tips, when making SUI for video animation: Set your canvas (or artboard, in Illustrator) to the size of your produced video. Once I have some of that set, I add the mouse PNG to a track above the images. I should note that you don’t have to be particularly creative or a “graphics pro” to make SUI images.

In the Save As dialog box, select PNG as the Save as type. First, to eliminate some of the color variations, change the image into a 16 color image. This retains the primary colors of the images but eliminates many of the color variations. Choose Snagit ball > Save As. Click Options. Select 16 colors from the dropdown menu. Click Save.

Save the image as a PNG file. Press < CTRL + A > on the keyboard to select all of the elements at one time. Right-click on one of the selected images. Choose Group > Group from the context menu. All the elements are made into one image. Add the slide image to the Camtasia Studio 8 Clip Bin. Browse and select the slide image.

Bonus tip: If you want to add pictures or videos over the laptop image, then it’s probably a good idea to just fill the inside with black and square off the corners since the videos won’t have rounded corners.
