In more recent years, websites, wikis and blogs have entered the picture, creating sociallearning platforms that learners can modify themselves. What I learned this week at the Enterprise 2.0 Today I was on a panel about sociallearning. In the spirit of that presentation and #lrnchat, I wanted to share the biggest thing I learned at this conference. No matter what anyone tells you, no one really has a clue how to “do&# social in the enterprise.
Then I got to work and started thinking about sociallearning, the workplace, and generation gaps. Today we think and talk about how to implement and manage sociallearning in the workplace. The talk is often reactive, e.g. people have the tools and are using them, so we need to put some guidelines and policies in place.
