I got a chance to closely analyze many of these specific issues and in all the cases it turned out to be server configuration problems. All you need to do is publish the project and upload the entire publish folder to the server – Some cases just a web server (IIS, Apache etc) and other cases to an LMS.

These vendors do not use any items, plugins, etc., Most of the ones I have seen (and not customized by a vendor per se), really are not that impressive. No one is going to mistake the UI for uber Modern (again, sans vendor build).

One vendor who isn’t on the list, for multitude of reasons, accepts over 25 payment gateways — that is enormous in size for this industry. There are vendors who include a payment gateway for those who don’t have one, but the catch is that they charge a transaction fee along with point of sales per item sold fee.

What I do have an issue with, is when vendors are so blatant in gouging the customer with ludicrous seat pricing. And yet, time after time, and more so lately, I have seen some vendors who fail to follow the basic rules. . Let me Explain.

Then there are those who use the “traditional” and “non-traditional” tag as a reason for being listed. Are they better than every other vendor in the market? Not everyone gets in. But I digress.

This is a growing market with new vendors showing up, but at the same time, others disappearing. If a RCAT vendor tells you they have been in business for over 10 years, they are somewhat misleading, since WBT courses really didn’t start to hit the mark until 2000 and then you have limited choices on how to build. One of my favorites is browser check because while vendors say their systems are browser agnostic, I have found in many systems this not to be the case. I think any LMS vendor our there would want such dedication for their system, but alas it is not to be. .

Vendors report seeing anywhere from a dozen questions to more than 500 in some cases. I have yet to see or hear someone’s country not have a server available to them, from those hosted server sites. A funny thing happened on the way to using GPT-4 last week, which I suspect that the vendors who have implemented GPT-4 and are using it as a statement/Q and A to the learners were not paying attention to. Turbo, which many vendors use that have OpenAI. Microsoft is not the only vendor that offers copilots.
